Review of Fire Maidens From Outer Space

A review of Cy Roth's science fiction film, "Fire Maidens from Outer Space", has a couple of complaints. Firstly, the movie is lacking in special effects, and the scenes are boring. And, second, the story is predictable. While there is a good cast, Fire Maidens from Outer Space lacks in originality. That said, it is still worth a look.

Cy Roth's Fire Maidens

Cy Roth's Fire Maidens from Outside Space is a 1956 British science fiction film directed and produced by Roth. The plot centers on an astronomer who believes that there is a thirteenth moon orbiting Jupiter with an atmosphere similar to Earth's. He attempts to contact this moon to investigate the possibility of life in it. Unfortunately, he is unsuccessful. In this space adventure, Cy Roth is not the only one who fails.

No special effects

Although critics have slammed the film for its lack of special effects, the film remains charming, despite its low-budget nature. The movie is made on a shoestring budget and requires no deep thought, but its charm is apparent. Fire Maidens from Outer Space is an enjoyable escape from reality. But if you're looking for a movie that doesn't require deep thought, you're in for a surprise.

Boring scenes

"Fire Maidens from Outer Space" is a mediocre alien babe flick that relies too much on fantasy to be entertaining. The story is based around the mysterious "Beast," an evil entity who tries to capture the Fire Maidens. He wears a black body suit and a plastic molded Halloween'monster mask, and never lets the audience see him up close.

Lack of special effects

The lack of special effects in Fire Maidens from Outside Space may be one of the film's main flaws, but it also gives the story a strong, memorable voice. The film's central character, Prasus, is often portrayed as a drunk, giving a rousing speech and then collapsing into a coma. His clumsy stance and slack acting are arguably intentional. Similarly, the film's 'alien' characters are frequently portrayed as man-hungry and over-the-top, which makes it an interesting story. The film's lack of special effects, along with its strong cast of female characters, makes this movie less impressive, but it does give the story a strong, underlying message.

Olive's Blu-ray

The Olive's Blu-ray review of Firemaidens from Outer Space is a nostalgic ride through an early sci-fi classic. The film was made in the U.S. as FIRE MAIDENS FROM OUTER SPACE. Michael Weldon, who produced the film, calls it "sort of a British version of CAT WOMEN OF THE MOON." The 73-minute film contains a great deal of nostalgia.

Olive's Blu-ray condition

The Olive's Blu-ray condition for Firemaidens from Outer Space is near-perfect. It's competently filmed and presented in B&W. The audio is also excellent. The Borodin music opens the film with a phonograph needle. The disc includes no extras, but it's definitely worth the price. We give it a four-star rating.
